Again disapointed with the cost of servicing.
SO MANY THINGS GOOD: PERSONALITIES, NEW RECEPTION AREA, OVERALL HELPFULNESS.IRRITATIONS: ALTERING DRIVERS SEAT TO AN UNBELIEVABLE POSITION AND THEN NOT PUTTING IT BACK, SO SPEND THE NEXT WEEK BEING BOTHERED BY IT.
Initial problem not totally fixed. Without transport for over 4 days as no courtesy cars available. Telephone calls never returned. Repairs have cost me approximately £3kin the last 12 months, so am not happy.

Excellent service and care by everyone i come into contact with especially Darren in the service department. Darren has also looked after me for many years and keeps me posted on anything i need to know.
arrived at at 1.50pm for a 2.00pm booking was greeted at front desk and told to take a seat and someone from service would see me asap, eventually someone from service came over asking who i was and if i had checked in at the front desk at 2.25pm!
The work was done in the time allocated and the car cleaned.
Had a longish wait when collecting the car.No evidence that the rattles (steering Column cowl and drivers door) had been looked at and they were still present when the car was collected, again.
The team went out of their way to help.
Happy the suspension was eventually done free of charge. Took a few days to agree. Service advisor was friendly and helped get the work done.

Really happy with overall service, especially James on service and David Holmes in sales. Both were very professional. Only issue was the problems with car were not rectified. There was no follow up call to check everything was ok.
My satisfaction is presently reducing as the issue I previously raised has not be addressed. I haven't even received a courtesy response.I still have not received my VHC.
Even though they were in the middle of building a brand new state of the art showroom and the place was a building site the staff were prompt, courteous and polite.

Met on arrival by service member talked through process and even walked round car to check all ok then I was kept up to date with progress while I waited sat in a nice clean waiting area with tv and plenty reading material and a nice coffee
good to see both genders represented in the showroom, although not on the service desk. Slightly uncomfortable with the laddish banter between service counter staff.

The Mini showroom where the BMW Stratstone service centre is was very busy. I understand that there is a new building being built but other customers who were trying to book their cars in were being asked to ring up instead of waiting to see someone.
I have already spoken with Stratstone about this matter. I had a 2hr while you wait service which took around 2hrs 30mins. 1hr after I arrived my car had still not moved, I had to chase up progress on 3 occasions.
I have been dealing with this BMW Centre under different owners for the last 25years. They have never put a foot wrong.

Car was booked in for a specific time 1000hrs and was told when I arrived it will be ready before 1700hrs. Why have alloted times if you don't stick to them. A full day wasted hanging around when I had plans after the check up

Booking was for 1 day (0845 to 1730hrs) for ISOFIX bracket Safety Recall (2hrs work) as well as a quality improvement on the exhaust. On arrival told it would take 2 days. Actually took 2.5 days. Service record not received yet despite asking twice.
Prompt friendly service
Car is now much improved after two visits. There's still a remaining issue (steering wheel isn't straight when driving) which can't be fixed until the garage's wheel alignment equipment is available.

From dropping the car of to picking it up when completed, the process was smooth and trouble free. I was keep aware of the progress and the staff were friendly, understanding and attentive to me needs.
Car poorly cleaned, collection (on a Saturday) day after the service took an hour because the receptionist had forgotten I was waiting, no real apology given, no drink offered (I made my own!) i drive service history not updated = lengthy wait v poor
brought car in to change winter tyres over to the summer ones - told after nearly 3 hours that they hadnt been brought from storage and soemone was going in the car to quicken it up - arrived at 08.55 finally left at 13.20:(

Always a warm welcome by the staff, my car was washed and ready for me within the time frame expected.
Service assistant arranged replacement of warranty item on the day. I expected that I would have to arrange a further visit to have the item attended to. Very pleased with the approach adopted by the service assistant.
I feel that my replacement tyres were greatly overpriced. I wish I had shopped around instead of agreeing over the phone (car was in for service) - I could have saved a lot of money!
2 weeks before my service to advise of a broken switch. After the service I was told they had switch in stock! I was then told by Ross that he would contact me to ideally send out an engineer to save me another 2 hour drive. still waiting for a call!
Staff were unable to advise me how long I had to wait for my car to be returned. I find it unacceptable to purchase a high value car and be without it for weeks as BMW don't have parts available and can't advise when they will be delivered
Your service settings are not realistic. Can't get in for an mot, service warning comes on. Not good practic. Waste of valuble time, sorting out.After this major service, l had 14,000 miles to next service; but after 230 miles, my service interval,

I was not informed that my service package had run out at 49500 miles! Plus no one sign my service log book.
They haven't reset the service indicator in the car computer hence I will need to trail back up again to the garage

In comparison to my last purchase I didn't feel valued. I had to continually chase BMW. The car took too long to arrive. There was no grand reveal as last time (granted the showroom was under renovation).
